  The Jackson Underground is a solid choice for a working lunch. They deliver downtown, have a variety of hearty sandwiches, and offer a frequent eater card. You can even order from your phone. The online ordering system warns you that your "ASAP" order will take 45 minutes, but Jackson's usually delivers in about 25.
  
  As far as content goes, I wish their hoagie rolls were a little bit higher quality, but I've never gone wrong with their rye bread. They've got all varieties of sandwiches, subs, and wraps available, along with various salads and side items. Most of their sandwiches are in the $7-$9 range, with sides costing a couple of bucks extra.

  As a former employee, I can honestly say that these guys are some of the most genuine, kindhearted people I've had the privilege of working with. They truly care about the customer and will do anything to accommodate any requests and concerns. Elizabeth, the owner, is a very hardworking and driven individual who treats customers just like they were her own family. I am definitely going to miss the wholesome vibe of this place when I move.

  Truly hidden gem, literally underground. Sandwiches are always incredible, the prices are good, and the staff are always friendly to me. Great little place to grab a quick lunch.

  Jackson's Underground Cafe is phenomenal. I had their chicken and dumplings soup. It was so good I ate it in the car on the way home. Their staff is really friendly and everyone goes the extra mile. I highly recommend eating lunch there...anytime.
